04:30 am – Departure from Costa Rica

Pick-up from the Potrero area and drive toward the Peñas Blancas border.

06:30 am – Border Procedures

Customs and immigration at Costa Rica and Nicaragua. Our team guides you step by step, making sure passports and exit taxes are handled smoothly.

08:00 am – Playa La Virgen (Lake Nicaragua)

09:30 am – Rivas Central Park

A short historical stop to explore San Pedro Parish and feel the local atmosphere of the “City of Mangoes.”

One of Nicaragua’s most famous viewpoints, offering panoramic views of Apoyo Lagoon and the Mombacho Volcano.

12:30 pm – Masaya Volcano National Park

Visit the active Santiago crater. Masaya is one of the few volcanoes in the world where you can drive right up to the edge and look directly into an active crater.

02:00 pm – Lunch in Granada

Relax and enjoy lunch at a charming restaurant set inside a beautifully preserved colonial house.

Granada Islets Boat Tour

Cruise Lake Cocibolca and explore the famous archipelago of 365 volcanic islets, including the well-known Monkey Island, surrounded by nature and wildlife.

04:00 pm – Departure to the Border

Leave Granada and head back to Peñas Blancas, arriving before border closing time (around 6:00 pm).
